Peter Legge Charity Golf Classic, July 21, 2008
The Coquitlam Foundation was a sponsor of the 14th Annual Peter Legge Charity Golf Classic on July 21, 2008, which raised more than $74,000 for three charities: the Salvation Army, the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation and the Coquitlam Foundation, which received $23,000.
Directors from the foundation's board volunteered at the tournament and also staffed a Coquitlam Foundation pavilion at one of the holes. The event was held at Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam.
Peter Legge is honorary chairperson of the Coquitlam Foundation.
