COQUITLAM - The Coquitlam Foundation is now accepting nominations to fill board and committee positions. Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month.
The Coquitlam Foundation, which was founded in 1992, promotes and facilitates enhancement of the community by:
- Exercising philanthropic leadership in identifying and addressing community needs and opportunities;
- Attracting and managing charitable gifts of cash, bonds, shares, pledges, bequests, and life insurance as permanent endowments;
- Investing these pooled funds prudently for the benefit of community wellness, including arts and culture, community services, education, health, and seniors and youth.
If you are a resident of the City of Coquitlam with the desire and time to give back to your community, we welcome your letter of interest for consideration. Applications must received by May 15, 2010.
